Category: Heavy Duty Tactical & Service Dog Vests & Harnesses

The Tactipup Recon harness is based on our Extreme Harness but features a more breathable and minimalist back section of the harness.

This harness is constructed with the best materials we could get our hands on and features your choice of polymer buckles or Austrialpin metal Cobra buckles. Our patent pending design allows you to put the harness over the dog's head, pass the chest plate through their front legs, and then buckle each side.  If your dog is reactive, amped, or generally difficult to manage, this will make your life significantly easier.

Pro Tip: If you choose "No Logo - Loop Panel for Patch" under the "Chest Logo Color" drop down, we offer a wide range of patches that are designed specifically to fit the 2.75" x 2.75" loop patch panel.

Features:

  • Choice of High-End Buckles
  • Forged Steel V-Ring
  • Mil-Spec Webbing rated at 2,000lbs+
  • Full chest coverage for added safety and comfort

Abigail ★★★★★

The breathable back section keeps the harness from trapping heat, but the real win for me is how stable it stays during agility drills—no shifting even with sudden turns. My dog seems to forget it's on, which is the highest praise I can give.

Benjamin ★★★★★

My working dog finally stopped overheating on trail runs thanks to that breathable mesh back panel. The stitching has held up through three months of daily bushwhacking and the chest strap distributes pull weight perfectly.

Harper U. ★★★★★

The minimalist back section is a game-changer—my dog can move freely during agility drills without the bulk of a full vest. The breathable design kept him comfortable through a two-hour hike in the sun, and the construction feels bombproof after three months of rough use.
